Inflammation on the skin occurs in three phases.

Phases of skin inflammation

A distinction is made between the following phases skin:

  1. Phase: redness
  2. Phase: blisters and wheals
  3. Phase: suppuration

First phase (redness / hyperemia)

  • Aconitum (blue monkshood)
  • Belladonna (deadly nightshade)

Second phase: appearance of swelling and wheals or blisters

Third stage: appearance of pus

  • Hepar sulfuris (calcium sulphate liver)
  • Sulfur (purified sulfur)
