dyscalculia

Dyscalculia, that is, a lack of calculation and numbers, can be compensated by integrative learning therapies. The disorder is a general, mathematical understanding problem that occurs independently of intelligence.

dyslexia

Dyslexia, also known as reading-spelling weakness, occurs more frequently in boys than in girls, and is associated with difficulties in writing and reading. Genetic and psychosocial causes are suspected, resulting in dysfunction of the linguistic center. As with dyscalculia, dyslexia is independent of intelligence.

speech disorders

The most well-known speech disorder is the stuttering, where there is an interrupted flow of speech and more often repetitions of sounds and syllables. Most of the time the problem occurs in phases, especially in children. A complication of the speech disorder is a disturbed psychosocial development with diminished self-esteem.

In case of lack of concentration, attention is limited and the affected person can not direct their consciousness to specific contents. In addition to the well-mentioned attention deficit disorders ADD and ADHD, there are other diseases that can cause a lack of concentration. This includes, among other things, a vitamin B12 deficiency such as iron deficiency.

Behavioral problems in children

Behavioral problems in children can sometimes be noticed in kindergarten or only at school age. Behavioral abnormalities include anxiety, aggression or physical violence towards other children, as well as increased secrecy or shyness.

giftedness

A giftedness is usually associated with increased intelligence, which can be determined by an intelligence test. This gift may be limited to certain areas or be present in several learning and living areas. A giftedness requires a certain promotion, on the one hand, concentration games can be applied.

The school enrollment

School enrollment is an important life event for children and parents. As the beginning of the school career, it is important to determine whether the child has reached a true emotional and cognitive maturity, which is necessary for the beginning of school. There are certain school enrollment tests that can decide on additional support for the child.
