Zeel® comp. N is a combination homeopathic medicine marketed by Heel in the form of tablets, ampoules and creams. The various preparations contain the same active ingredients but use other excipients.

Zeel® comp. N is used in particular for pain in the context of osteoarthritis and rheumatic joint complaints and contains 5 different drugs. These include Poisonum, the Canadian Bloodroot and Bergwohlverleih (Arnica). As with any homeopathic medicine, the active ingredients are diluted so that only traces of it are contained in the finished drug.

According to the manufacturer, it can also be used for intravenous injection or injected into the skin. The idea is, Zeel® comp. N directly into the target tissue or into the blood, so that it can act faster and stronger there.

For joint pain, the manufacturer recommends injecting the medicine from the ampoules into the skin of the affected joint twice a week, while tablets should be taken on days without injection. Otherwise the therapeutic success could be hindered.

Zeel® comp. N is used as a cream predominantly for pain relief in the context of osteoarthritis or in rheumatic diseases. The cream can be applied directly to the skin over the affected joint, bone or muscle or placed on a piece of cloth and then used as an ointment dressing.

Content & ingredients

Zeel® comp. N contains 5 active substances regardless of the dosage form. The spectrum of action of combination preparations such as Zeel mainly results from the effects of the individual ingredients, but may have additional effects due to the combination of several substances.

The active substances are in detail Arnica montana (mountain charter), Rhus toxicodendron (poisonous oak), Sanguinaria canadensis (Canadian bloodroot), Solanum dulcamara (Bittersweet nightshade) and Sulfur (sulfur). As in any homeopathic medicine, they are diluted, leaving only traces of the active ingredients present in the finished product.

Zeel® comp. N is considered an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent. The individual ingredients are said to help particularly well with osteoarthritis and rheumatic complaints. The latter are more affected when they become more intense in cold and wet conditions. In addition, muscle pain after congestion and other joint inflammation should be treated with the drug.

According to the manufacturer, the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect occurs after about 4-6 weeks, which is why Zeel® comp. Contraindications
