Use of Sepia for the following diseases in homeopathy
- Long-term dry eczema, especially on the back of the hands
- Increased, absent, or irregular menstrual bleeding during menopause
- Chronic inflammation of the stomach and intestinal mucosa
- Varicose veins on the legs
Sepia can also be used as a homeopathic treatment for vitreous detachment. However, this should be clarified with an ophthalmologist beforehand.
Use of Sepia for the following symptoms / complaints
- Menopausal symptoms of women, hot flashes on the one hand, chilliness on the other
- Tendency to have cold feet, often warm hands and hot head
- In the morning the women are miserable, weak, sleepless and only get going slowly, in the evening they are very lively
- Bad smelling sweat
- Yellowish skin color with many pigment spots.
Mood irritable and moody.
Warm, stuffy room air and rooms full of people are not tolerated. Everything is better on the move and in the fresh air.
Pulsatilla is a very similar remedy, but works primarily in younger women before or after their period.
The period around menopause is subject to sepia.
